VIPIN CHOUDHARY (Chef de cuisine):

Hey there! I’m Vipin, and my culinary story is a wild ride that I think you’re gonna love. Picture this: big, vibrant weddings in northern India with food for days – literally. These massive feasts for 400-500 people were my playground as a kid. The first time I walked into one of those mega kitchens, I was hit with this intoxicating mix of spices and fragrances. It was like a color bomb exploded in a pot – curries of every hue, fluffy rice mountains, and that addictive aroma of roasting cumin and caraway seeds. That was the moment, folks. I knew I was born to cook up a storm.

Fast forward a bit, and I found myself in sunny Goa, soaking up all the culinary knowledge at the Institute of Hotel Management. The next chapter? A stint in the Middle East, cooking up Italian delicacies at a chic spot named NINO. And because sleep is overrated, I also moonlighted at a bakery, because, why not?

Now, here’s where things got spicy. While I was gearing up to hit Canada, I took a delicious detour back home. I dived headfirst into the bustling streets of New Delhi, learning, tasting, and basically living my best foodie life. Those streets taught me to appreciate the beauty of Indian flavors even more.

Later on, I set sail with Carnival Cruise Lines, then landed in Atlanta to whip up magic at a restaurant called Sankranti. From there, I teamed up with the legendary Chef Maneet Chauhan at MORPH, where we experimented with some cool Indian-American fusion dishes.

Since then, I’ve been all over the place, from launching RASAI in Seattle to shaping the menu at SHOSHA in Cali and Washington, D.C. My mantra? Take age-old recipes from my roots, give them a little twist, and make them groove with local flavors. Think of it as bridging the East and West with a sprinkle of innovation and a whole lot of passion.

Vipin desires to create food that honors its core tradition but adds an experience of fresh ideas and presentation.

MICAH BERG (CEO):

Hospitality and finance executive with 20 years of experience in financial management, real estate, vacation rentals, and hospitality. Micah is passionate about food and the customer experience and strives to support only high-quality, consistent experiences. Micah’s previous career positions include Sergeant – United States Marine Corps, Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, and CEO/Founder of RealJoy Vacations in Destin, FL.

GAURAV THAKUR (Sous Chef):

A very passionate individual with an array of modern cuisine and innovative recipes, Guarav has worked with several celebrity chefs on cruise lines and has an experience of 12 years in the food and hospitality industry. Gaurav has also studied Indian cuisine and modern pastry art and preparation.

AKASH MANDHARE (General Manager):

Focused professional over 10 years of career in the hospitality industry. With experience in Food and bar management, inventory control & various management roles with several hotels & restaurants in the USA & India.
